Don't tell they'd advertise – you know!      別聲張! 他們會禁止我們 – 你曉得的!

How dreary – to be – Somebody!          做 – 大人物 – 多可悲啊!

How public – like a Frog –                     像一隻青蛙 – 公開地 -

To tell one's  name – the livelong June        - 將自己的名字 – 在整個六月天 -

To an admiring Bog!                                    唱給一灘愛慕的沼澤聽
